On Sunday, January 21st Susaye Greene performed at the SAP Arena in San Jose as part of the Harlem Globetrotters halftime show with Jeremy Yun of the WJM Band. Susaye and Jeremy performed the Marvin Gaye Classic "What's Going On" and "Lean On Me."
WJM is no ordinary band. William, Jeremy, and Max are three California ninth graders that have turned their love of music into an instrument for change. The boys support charities that benefit children in different ways, and choose to donate their compensation directly to different organizations such as UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland, UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco, Camp Okizu, The Bridge School, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford, St. Baldrick’s Foundation, and Live In Peace. "I had a fabulously fun and enlightening time in San Jose: great company, thank you to my lovely friends Joon, Kimberly, Jeremy and Eric Yun, for inviting me and encouraging me through my laryngitis. Thank you Jeremy for being so talented and gracious, professional and poised. You have a tremendous career ahead! Great film crew, outstanding caring and so supportive. A joy to meet each of them. Add in the Four Seasons Silicon Valley/Palo Alto Hotel, unsurpassable style and service, atmosphere, orchids galore, design, Art excellence!!! food, Tesla (juicy car) and top it off with the unstoppable Harlem Globe Trotters! Just too much fun! Thank you Eric Iversen for smoothing the way always. You and Will are so kind, fun, and caring! An A plus weekend! Simply Supreme. I'm dancing!" - Susaye Greene
