On Thursday, February 19th 2026 Scherrie Payne, formerly of THE SUPREMES performed a special solo set at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood, CA. As part of the "H.B Barnum Presents, Three Legendary Ladies of Song....and a Gentleman." Scherrie performed alongside her "SUPREME Sister" Lynda Laurence, Motown Legend, Blinky Williams and Miguel Herrera. Individually they performed songs from the American Songbook, Jazz, R&B, Blues, and More! Scherrie Payne's set-list. 1. Haven't We Met 2. You've Been A Good Old Wagon (But You Done Broke Down) 3. Crumbs Off The Table (Scherrie's 1969 hit with The Glass House) 4. This Is My Life Scherrie's gown by: Carly - CarlyCouture CC BAND: H.B. Barnum (Piano) * Billy Meza (Keyboards) * Marvin Marshall (Guitar) * Michael Saucier (Bass) * Tony St. James (Drums) TRIVIA: Scherrie performed "You've Been A Good Old Wagon" in the SUPREMES' show 1975/76. In their stage show the "Motown Genie" granted each lady 1 wish. Mary Wilson became Josephine Baker, Cindy Birdsong (later Susaye Greene) became Marilyn Monroe, and Scherrie became Bessie Smith - performing "You've Been a Good Old Wagon.) Scheerie Payne is such a Talented Singer, Lyricist, and Script Writer. I have found that her voice has gotten stronger and more expressive as the years have gone by. I always enjoy her performances.❤️🎤❤️🎶
