Scherrie & Susaye's "Supreme Sister" Lynda Laurence invited the Ladies to attend a special benefit concert at California State University Northridge featuring her son Trevor Lawrence Jr. (drummer) singer/entertainer Pattti Austin and special guest One80. The event raised money for T.AD.W. (Teenage Drama Workshop) who's goal is to provide a high level of performing arts education for secondary school students. Young people work together with theatre professionals, theatre educators as well as university students to create theatre of the highest quality and caliber for young audiences. The evening was titled "Be Bop To Hip Hop." and inovatively fused the two musical genres. The performance included jazz standards, hip hop classics and video presentations brilliantly composed to enlighten and engage the audience. Trivia: Did you know that some of Trevor Lawrence Jr.s earliest gigs as a teenager were playing drums for The Former Ladies of The Supremes all over the world.
