La Voix Studio's "Quincy Jones Tribute" showcase.

Scherrie Payne, Lynda Laurene and Joyce Vincent were special guest performers at the La Voix Studio's* talent showcase. The evening was a tribute to Quincy Jones and the students performed songs spanning Quincy Jones' prolific career. The evening was co-hosted by Freda Payne.

Staying with the theme of the evening Scherrie, Lynda and Joyce performed 2 songs produced by Quincy Jones "Give Me Night," originally recorded by George Benson and "How Do You Keep The Music Playing," which was recorded by Patti Austin and James Ingram. In the early 1990's Scherrie and Lynda, alongside Sundray Tucker recorded these 2 songs on their Rick Gianatos produced album "Supreme Voices."
