 Lynda Laurence and her son Trevor Lawrence Jr. Hello All, Hope you are all set and ready for the Grammy’s this Sunday. I know I am. Why you ask?….Because my son (my only child) Trevor Lawrence, Jr. has been Nominated for 3 Grammy’s in three different categories! That speaks volumes to his amazing musical ability and talent. This young man has one of the most impressive bio’s out there. In his young life he has performed with the likes of, Stevie Wonder to Herbie Hancock and many others too numerous to mention. He's recorded music for the movie Superman, recorded 2 albums of his own and the list goes on and on. I mean, his resume is over 16 pages! He has even taught as an adjunct professor at Cal State Northridge. He has accomplished so much as a stellar musician. But as a son, a father of two and a husband of over 20 years he has made us all very proud. So I wish to send him KUDO”s for The Grammy’s on Sunday. But for me….. He is my Grammy. Proud much! Ha! Congratulations to Trevor Jr. That is an amazing accomplishment. I have been a fan of yours since your days as a Supreme, and hate that the song you normally led in live performances was not included on the Live in Japan album. In addition, I have been a fan of Trevor Sr. and love his horn arrangements on songs like “Bad Weather” by the Supremes, “Wild Night” by Martha Reeves, and “I’m So Excited” by the Pointer Sisters, just to name a few. I also have a copy of the “Disco Lucy” by Wilton Place Street Band! It is no surprise that Trevor Jr. is also a musician! Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
