#FLOSFRIDAY - On Friday's we look back at the 34 year history and legacy of The Former Ladies of The Supremes, we call it #FLOSFRIDAY

Today we are looking back to June 2008, when Joyce Vincent filled in for Lynda Laurence in Warwick, U.K.  Lynda Laurence's father Ira Tucker, of the legendary gospel group The Dixie Hummingbirds, sadly passed away before this gig, so we once again called Joyce Vincent to fill the 3rd spot in the trio.  Joyce had previously filled in for Freddi Poole in Japan.  Within hours Joyce was on a flight to the U.K.  With very little rehearsal, Former Supreme Scherrie Payne, with Freddi Poole and Joyce Vincent hit the stage.  The ladies performed The Supremes' 60’s and 70’s hits, their rendition of "How Do You Keep The Music Playing?' and a special addition to the show of "I Will Survive."  The audience was very enthusiastic and loved the Ladies' performance.  Cheers of "Encore" filled the venue following the finale!  The Ladies returned to the USA and this lineup performed again at a private engagement in the Los Angeles area before Lynda Laurence resumed her position. The following year Joyce Vincent replaced Freddi Poole in the trio.  #Lookingback #memories
