#DUETSWEEK - Scherrie Payne & Phillip Ingram "On And On" 1987

​Today we are looking back to 1987 when Scherrie Payne recorded "On And One" with Phillip Ingram.  

This duet was featured on Scherrie's 1987 solo album titled "INCREDIBLE" - on the SuperStar International label.  


"Phillip Ingram, just like his late-brother, the incomparable James Ingram, is a phenomenal singer in his own right. Such a talented family! It was a joy recording duets with him. The sessions were always easy-going and fun. Wayne Henderson was our producer. Never was there a dull moment in the studio. We did a lot of singing but we did a lot laughing, too.  A lot of laughing!  I’m so proud of what we accomplished back then.  Phillip is a true professional in every way. The song, “On And On,” was just one example of our endeavors."
