Stop #2 on the Ladies' mini tour of the UK was The Marlow Theatre in Canterbury. This performance reunited the ladies with guitarist Erwin Keiles and his band. Erwin's history with the Former Ladies of The Supremes goes all the way back too 1989! Erwin's band is always amazing and the Ladies' love working with them.
The 90 minute show at the Marlow Theatre included The Supremes' 60's & 70's hits, "Get Ready" as a tribute to The Temptations and "Respect" in tribute to Aretha Franklin. After the costume change the ladies mesmerized the audience with their stellar performance of "How Do You Keep The Music Playing," which earned them a standing ovation. The Ladies closed their show with the 1966 Supremes' classic "You Can't Hurry Love" and "Happy," which had the audience up on their feet dancing and cheering "ENCORE!" for the ladies. After the show Scherrie Payne, Susaye Greene and Joyce Vincent celebrated with fans and friends before heading out of 3rd and final stop of this mini tour.
