October 31st 2023 - 50 years ago today Scherrie Payne made her stage debut as the newest member of THE SUPREMES. Her "SUPREME' debut took place at the New Mexico State Fair in Phoenix, Arizona. Congratulations Scherrie on your "Golden" anniversary as a Supreme! We love you!  Wearing their vintage 1980's F.L.O.S costumes, the 2009-2017 lineup of Former Ladies of THE SUPREMES reunited for the one time performance of "SHE WORKS HARD FOR THE MONEY" at La Voix Studio's 1970's/1980's themed showcase. The ladies have not worn these costumes in almost 30 years! Costumes designed by Linda Stokes (L-R) Lynda Laurence, Scherrie Payne & Joyce Vincent The Ladies stayed with the theme of the evening and even had 1980's inspired hairstyles. A fun night was had by all!

Celebrating 37 years of "SUPREME EXCELLENCE" with the Former Ladies of The Supremes! Scherrie Payne, Lynda Laurence and Joyce Vincent performed solo numbers at the La Voix Studio's 1970's/1980's themed showcase. Scherrie Performed "One Night Only," Lynda performed Joe Cocker's "Feeling Alright," and Joyce performed Dionne Warwick's "I Know I'll Never Love This Way Again. As a special surprise the 2009-2017 lineup of Former Ladies of The Supremes (Scherrie, Lynda and Joyce) reunited for a one time performance of Donna Summer's classic "She Works Hard For The Money." In honor of the 1980's theme of the night the ladies wore their vintage 1980's F.L.O.S. costumes, and had their hair done in 1980's styles. They have not worn this set of costumes in almost 30 years! #FLOSFRIDAY Do you remember these? A fun evening was had by all!

La Voix Studio is presenting its 4th Annual "70s & 80s" Theme Show with a Live Band with Special Guests! Wednesday October 25th at The Knitting Factory in the Federal Bar in North Hollywood. Come out dressed as an 1980's babe or take a trip back to the 70s in your theme attire. Best dressed may win a prize! Special solo performances by: Scherrie Payne - Formerly of THE SUPREMES Lynda Laurence - Formerly of THE SUPREMES Joyce Vincent - Formerly of TONY ORLANDO & DAWN & more! La Voix studio is owned and operated by Scherrie Payne's daughter, Shoshana Payne Phillips. "La Voix Studio, "the Voice Studio", is a place where singers come to develop and improve their voices." Scherrie Payne & Susaye Greene, Former Ladies of THE SUPREMES with Joyce Vincent, perform at the Television Academy Theatre in North Hollywood, CA. The Ladies performed a tribute to MOTOWN songwriters Holland-Dozier-Holland as part of the Hands4Hope gala. October 13th 2023
