Thank you! #FlosFriday - Celebrating 34 years of "Supreme Excellence" with the Former Ladies of The Supremes! Today we are going back to July 13th 2013 when The Former Ladies of The Supremes' Scherrie Payne & Lynda Laurence with Joyce Vincent performed at the "Jazz à Juan" seaside festival in Juan-Les-Pins, France. The ladies co-headlined the evening with their Motown family member Dennis Edwards and his Temptations Revue. Jazz à Juan is a seaside festival with all the biggest names in Jazz, taking place in July every year at the Gould Pine Grove in Juan-les-Pins. As the oldest jazz festival in Europe, Jazz in Juan remains an amazing melting pot where different trends all blend together. Many performers have trodden the boards of the stage in the mythical pine grove since its creation in 1960. The festival has established itself as one of the legendary places where jazz history was made and is eternally renewed through young prodigies like Marcus Miller, Wynton Marsalis, Salif Keita, Diana Krall, James Carter and Joshua Redman. Every year, as well as the concerts on the main stage, Antibes Juan-les-Pins Tourist Office celebrates jazz with concerts for jazz-lovers in the streets of Antibes Juan-les-Pins. *Click on the thumbnail images below to view the full sized photos #FormerLadiesOfTheSupremes #FlosFriday #KeepTheMusicPlaying Enjoy this rare video footage from our F.L.O.S archives of the Ladies performing "Hold On I'm Coming" at the Jazz A Juan Festival in Juan-Les-Pins, France.
