On Sunday, June 23rd 2023 Scherrie Payne & Joyce Vincent alongside Pam Vincent & Lynda Laurence recorded background vocals on a new track by Angelo Starr (Edwin's Starr's brother.) The song is "Patience" from the "DREAMGIRLS" movie. The session was produced by Rick Gianatos and he recruited his "all-star" background vocals team (Scherrie Payne, Joyce Vincent, Pam Vincent & Lynda Laurence.) The session was a rousing success and the vocals are amazing! Great job everyone. "PATIENCE!" We did it!!! Glorious vocals arranged and directed by Pamela Vincent. 2023 marks Scherrie Payne's 50th "Supreme Anniversary." She joined the legendary Motown trio in 1973. Congratulations Scherrie!
