On Sunday, June 28th 2026 "The Glass House" was inducted into the Enthrone Records Hall of Fame. The ceremony took place at the famed Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood, CA. Prior to becoming the lead singer of THE SUPREMES, Scherrie Payne was a member of "THE GLASS HOUSE." The groups' biggest hit was "Crumbs Off The Table," in 1969, which was cowritten by Scherrie Payne. Scherie Payne was unable to attend the ceremony so Joyce Vincent accepted the honor on Scherrie's behalf. Also in attendance to represent the GLASS HOUSE was Ty Hunter's son and daughter, and Peral Jones' grandson and granddaughter. Thank you Andre Pittmon and Enthrone Records f0r this honor.

 Celebrating the illustrious career of our sensational Scherrie Payne! Today we are looking back to the early days of Scherrie's career. Before joining The Supremes in late 1973 Scherrie sang with a group out of Detroit called The Glass House. The Glass House was an assembly of talented singers put together by Holland-Dozier-Holland for their Invictus Records label in 1969. The group consisted of Scherrie Payne, Ty Hunter, Larry Mitchell and Pearl Jones who was later replaced by Sylvia Smith. The group released two full-length studio albums and had a string of singles through 1972, peaking with 1969's "Crumbs Off The Table" (co-written by Scherrie Payne.) When the group dissolved Ty Hunter and Scherrie Payne went on to join the Motown roster. Ty joined the The Originals, and Scherrie became the lead singer of The Supremes. TRIVIA: Did you know that actress Gloria Hendry was an original member of The Glass House? Gloria was with the group in the very beginning. Scherrie remembers Gloria rehearsing with the group, but not recording or performing with them. She was replaced by Pearl Jones early in the group's career. Gloria later portrayed the "Bond Girl"l Rosie Carver in the 1973 James Bond film "Live and Let Die." In that film, she became the first African American woman to become romantically involved with 007. Enjoy these vintage Glass House photos from our personal archives. Tuesday, June 23rd 2026: Scherrie Payne & Lynda Laurence, Former Ladies of The Supremes with Joyce Vincent performed at The Music Center’s Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles. The event was a grand gala celebrating the achievements of youths in the foster care system graduating. The event was sponsored by The DCFS Independent Living program in association with the Los Angeles County Board of supervisors. The ladies were honored to perform for the amazing young graduates, their families and friends. Congratulates to all of the graduates!

Today we are looking back with this vintage FLOS fan club "Photo Video Collection." In the early/mid 1990's The Former Ladies of The Supremes' fan club was based in the UK and was run by Steve Weaver. During this time the Fan club offered several "Photo Video Collection" VHS tapes compiled from fan photos. This compilation includes the original photo collection with updated audio.  #FLOSFRIDAY - On Friday's we celebrate the 40 year history and legacy of The Former Ladies of THE SUPREMES, we call of F.L.O.S. Friday. Today we are looking back to the summer of 2000 when The Former Ladies of THE SUPREMES' Scherrie Payne & Lynda Laurence united with Diana Ross for their "Diana Ross & The Supremes' Return To Love" tour. In the summer of 2000 Vh1 filmed the TV special "Divas - A tribute to Diana Ross" which featured Rupaul. Destiny's Child, Faith Hill, Donna Summer and The Supremes. All of the artist performed Diana Ross/Supremes classics. The Finale featured all of the performers joining Diana Ross on-stage singing Diana Ross' 1970 solo hit "A'int No Mountain High Enough." The show concluded with Diana Ross & The Supremes performing "I Will Survive." #FLOS40 #FormerLadiesOfTheSupremes - Authentically Keeping the Legacy Alive!
