#FLOSFRIDAY - on Friday's we celebrate the 39 year history and legacy of The Former Ladies of The Supremes, we call it "F.L.O.S. FRIDAY." Today we are looking back to June 18th 2017, when The Former Ladies of The Supremes' Scherrie Payne & Lynda Laurence were joined by Joyce Vincent..............but not this night. "June 18th 2017 was an emotional night for us, for several reasons. Although not announced, we knew this was Lynda Laurence's farewell performance with The Former Ladies of The Supremes, so there was already an overwhelming feeling of sadness. Shortly after soundcheck Joyce Vincent became very ill backstage, and was taken to the hospital with food poisoning. This left Scherrie and Lynda to perform as a duo. With little time to prepare, changes were made to the show, and Scherrie and Lynda hit the stage. Being the true professionals that they are Scherrie and Lynda entertained the audience to a standing ovation finale. One of the highlights for me was watching the ladies hold hands as they performed their emotional rendition of "How Do You Keep The Music Playing." - Eric Iversen Scherrie and Lynda performed together for 31 years, and in 2024 Lynda returned to the trio, replacing Susaye Greene, who had replaced her in 2017. #GreatMemories #FormerLadiesOfTheSupremes #KeepTheMusicPlaying On Sunday, June 15th 2025 Scherrie Payne, Lynda Laurence and Joyce Vincent attended the "Enthrone Entertainment's Honors" induction ceremony. The Former Ladies of The Supremes were inducted last year, and this year the ladies were guests, and presented their Music Director - Ron Hasley with his induction award. Ron Hasley has been the ladies' Music Director/Piano player since 2010. He travels all over the world with the ladies, always keeping the band on point! Ron's resume, and list of accomplishment's are quite impressive, click the link to his bio below. So many of the Ladies' legendary show business friends and colleagues were also in attendance including The Honey Cone, Verdine White (Earth, Wind & Fire,) Claudette Robinson (The Miracles,) Motown songwriter Janie Bradford, Betty Kelley (Martha & The Vandellas,) CJ Emmons, Blinky Williams, Gene Chandler, Mickey Stevenson, Preston Glass, Cheryl Cooley (Klymaxx) and countless others. Thank you Andre Pittmon - CEO of Enthrone Entertainment, we had a great time! Click the link to read Ron Hasley's impressive resume. Scherrie Payne, Lynda Laurence & Joyce Vincent attended the “Every Woman” show at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood - starring Freddie Pool (The Three Degrees), Hazel Payne (A taste of Honey,) and Patrice “Choc’let” Banks (Gram Central Station.) The show was amazing! Scherrie and Lynda were thrilled to reunite with their dear friend, and former singing parter Ms. Freddie Pool. Freddie's performance was absolutely fabulous - as expected!!!! Freddie Pool performed alongside Scherrie and Lynda from 1996 to 2009, in their trio "Former Ladies of THE SUPREMES." Congratulations on a sensational show Freddie, we love you! Enjoy these pics from the "Every Woman" show #KeepTheMusicPlaying __________________________________________________ "The "Every Woman” show at The Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood was full of soul and energy! Each Lady brought her own unique style, delivering classic, feel-good songs that had the crowd moving. Their harmonies on the final number were beautiful. The band was tight, the background vocals were flawless. It was just a great, soulful show all around. I would be remiss if I didn't mention that Freddie Poole, who sang with us 1996-2009, made me feel very special when she mentioned my father, Ira Tucker of the Dixie Hummingbird’s when she introduced me (and Scherrie) from the stage. The audience’s response made me feel so good knowing they remembered my father. THANK YOU Freddie! It was a great show, and you were great as usual!" -Lynda Laurence Formerly of The Supremes "I concur with everything Lynda said about show! It was fantastic! And our dear friend, Freddie Pooll was outstanding as always!! I love her to pieces!!! Also, after so many years, to see her two daughters, Demetria and Kimberly and husband, Olin, grandsons, Matthew, Aaron and Christopher topped it off!!! I was over the moon" -Scherrie Payne Formerly of The Supremes

LOOKING BACK! June 12th 1977 - 48 years ago today! On June 12th 1977 Mary Wilson performed her final farewell show with The Supremes (Scherrie Payne & Susaye Greene) at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London, England. Mary Wilson announced that she would be going solo and that Scherrie Payne and Susaye Greene would be continuing as The Supremes.
