Hello Everyone,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our loyal fans for supporting the Former Ladies of The Supremes for over 38 years! As you know, during that time we have had a few line up changes. Today, we are announcing another line up change in our trio. Susaye Greene, who joined us in 2017, is departing, and will be devoting her time to her entrepreneurial endeavors, digital media platforms and much more! I know they’ll be great because Susaye is multi-talented. I’m so excited and happy for her. We thank Susaye for working with us, and for adding her touch to the group. We wish her well with her future projects. My other “Supreme Sister,” Lynda Laurence, has graciously agreed to return to the group and along with Joyce Vincent and me, we will continue as The Former Ladies of The Supremes. Those of you who have been following the group know that Lynda was in this group from 1986 to 2017. Lynda and I have worked together for over 31 years, and we look forward to many more exciting years. We want you all to know how much we appreciate your love and devotion. We know that you will continue to support us as we continue into 2024, and remember to always........“Keep The Music Playing!” Love always, Scherrie Payne On June 12th 1977 Mary Wilson performed her final farewell show with The Supremes (Scherrie Payne & Susaye Greene) at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London, England. Mary Wilson announced that she would be going solo and that Scherrie Payne and Susaye Greene would be continuing as The Supremesr. It was later reported that Scherrie and Susaye chose Joyce Vincent as their third member. Unfortunately Motown later decided to retire The Supremes before Joyce officially joined the trio. Enjoy the photos and clippings from The Supremes' final farewell performance. June 12th 1977. |
