#FLOSFRIDAY - On Friday's we take the time to look back at the 34 year history and legacy of The Former Ladies of The Supremes, we call it #FLOSFRIDAY

Today we are going back to April of 2007 when Joyce Vincent filled in for Freddi Poole. Freddi's mother sadly passed away, and Freddi was unable to accompany the Ladies on their 10 day tour of Japan. They called Joyce Vincent to complete the trio, and within 24 hours Joyce was on a plane with Scherrie Payne & Lynda Laurence.

Joyce studied the music on the long flight and with just a small amount of rehearsal was able to hit the stage with the Ladies! Joyce was amazing and the audiences were thrilled with the Ladies' performances. Two years later, in 2009 Joyce Vincent officially joined the trio. #KeepTheMusicPlaying

On Friday's we celebrate the 34 year history & legacy of The Former Ladies of The Supremes, we call it #FLOSFriday.

Today we are going back to The summer of 2000 when The Former Ladies of The Supremes' Scherrie Payne & Lynda Laurence united with Diana Ross for the Diana Ross & The Supremes' "Return To Love" Tour.

Diana Ross, Scherrie Payne & Lynda Laurence performed on "The Today Show" as part of their "Concerts on The Plaza" series. On a commercial break the ladies entertained the plaza audience with The Supremes' 1966 classic "Love Is Like An Itching In My Heart." This unaired performance is courtesy of Wayne Bascombe. Thank you Wayne for this rare video footage!

On Friday's we celebrate the 34 year history & legacy of The Former Ladies of The Supremes, we call it #FLOSFriday.

Today we are going back to 1999 when The Former Ladies of The Supremes' Scherrie Payne & Lynda Laurence with Freddi Poole traveled to the Bay Area (Northern California) and recorded several unreleased tracks.

These photos were previously printed by David Kramlick & Eric Iversen in the September 1999 F.L.O.S Fan cub newsletter. The photos are from the Lynda Laurence collection.
