Scherrie Payne, Lynda Laurence and Joyce Vincent, backstage minutes before their performance at La Voix Studios "1990's Theme Showcase" at The Catalina Jazz Club. The Former Ladies of The Supremes were the special guest performers. The Ladies performed The Supremes' classic "You Keep Me Hanging On" and Whitney Houston's 90's classic "I'm Every Woman." Since the theme of the evening was the 1990's the Ladies chose to wear a set of their 1990's era stage costumes! La Voix studio is owned and operated by Scherrie's daughter Shoshana Payne Phillips. The Ladies are advocates for youths participating in the performing arts and graciously endorse La Voix Studio. On Saturday, May 20th 2024 Scherrie Payne & Lynda Laurence, Former Ladies of The Supremes, with Joyce Vincent performed at La Voix Studio's "90's Era" theme show. The show was presented at The Catalina Club in Hollywood, CA. The La Voix students performed their favorite songs form the 1990's. The finale of the evening was special guest stars, Scherrie Payne & Lynda Laurence, Former Ladies of The Supremes, with Joyce Vincent. The ladies performed The Supremes' classic "You Keep Me and Hanging On" and stayed with the 90's theme and performed a high energy version of Whitney Houston's "I'm Every Woman." Since the theme of the evening was the 1990's the Ladies went into their F.L.O.S. stage wear archives and chose this set of green/black sequin jackets that they originally wore in the late 1990's. Paired with fitted black, fringe pants the ladies set the stage on FIRE! A fabulous evening was had by everyone. More pics and video to come!
