(PART 2) As the final notes of “Come See About Me” rang out, the ladies stunned the audience by dramatically slipping off their coats to reveal dazzling, custom-designed Linda Stokes couture gowns that shimmered under the stage lights. With grace and glamour, they greeted the audience, each proudly introducing herself before shining a spotlight on the legendary "Motown Supremes" era—spanning from 1963 to 1977. The energy soared as the iconic hits rolled in one after another: the soul-stirring “Reflections,” the infectious rhythm of “Where Did Our Love Go,” the timeless sweetness of “Baby Love,” and the haunting beauty of “My World Is Empty Without You.” The crowd was captivated, swept up in a wave of Motown magic. Next came a heartfelt tribute to the illustrious Joyce Vincent and her unforgettable time with Tony Orlando & Dawn. The ladies brought joyful nostalgia to life with a spirited medley of “Candida,” “Knock Three Times,” and the ever-uplifting “Tie A Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree.” They then seamlessly transitioned into the Supremes’ 1970 gem, “Up The Ladder To The Roof,” taking the audience even higher. In a deeply emotional moment, the ladies honored the beloved original Supreme, Mary Wilson. Scherrie and Lynda shared touching memories and expressed their profound gratitude to Mary for welcoming them into the Supremes' sisterhood. With hearts full of love, they performed Mary’s poignant ballad “Touch” as a glowing tribute to her legacy. Scherrie then took center stage and brought the house down with a powerhouse rendition of “Stoned Love,” setting the stage for the ladies’ next fabulous costume transformation. (PART 3 coming soon!)
