#FLOSFRIDAY - on Friday's we celebrate the 37 year history and legacy of The Former Ladies of The Supremes, we call it "F.L.O.S. FRIDAY." Today we are looking back to the 2003 when The Former Ladies of The Supremes' Scherrie Payne & Lynda Laurence were joined by Freddi Poole. In the Summer of 2003 the Ladies performed at the Sunset Junction Street Fair in Hollywood, CA headlining alongside Isaac Hayes. Supremes fans got a double dose of "SUPREMECY" as Susaye Greene was also on stage, performing songs from her recent solo CD "No Fear Here." This trio of "FLOS" performed together 1996-2009 #GreatMemories #FormerLadiesOfTheSupremes #KeepTheMusicPlaying TRIVIA: For their finale the Ladies performed Mary J. Blige's "No More Drama." This was the only time they performed this number.
![]() 1974 - The Supremes (Mary Wilson, Scherrie Payne & Cindy Birdsong) with Ewart Abner signing their Motown recording contract. Ewart Abner was hired by Berry Gordy to be vice-president of International Management at Motown in 1967. Later he was President of Motown from 1973 to 1975. In both of these roles, he helped manage the careers of The Supremes, The Temptations, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, The Four Tops, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and The Jackson Five.
