On Friday's we celebrate the history and legacy of The Former Ladies of The Supremes, we call it #FLOSFRIDAY.
Today we are looking back to January 25th 2000 with Scherrie Payne, Susaye Greene and Joyce Vincent. This trio of F.L.O.S. performed together December 2017 - February 2024. This photo was taken backstage after the ladies' performance at the "Legends of Soul" weekender in Skegness, U.K. - pictured with Steven Collazo of "ODDYSSEY. Steven is the son of original lead singer, the late Lillian Lopez.) #GreatMemories #FormerLadiesOfTheSupremes Authentically Keeping the legacy alive! "Of course I love this photo! This was taken when we took my very talented son (Trevor Lawrence) to Japan as our (Former Ladies of The Supremes') drummer.
I believe he was 18 years old at the time (early 1990's.) I could not have been prouder of him. He grew up on our music and he got to work with us. Talk about a proud Mother!!!" - Lynda Laurence
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend David Kramlick. David was a dedicated member of the F.L.O.S. team, having run the Former Ladies of The Supremes’ fan club from 1997 to 2004. During his time in this role, David worked tirelessly to keep fans worldwide informed about the activities and projects of the Supreme ladies. With the advent of the internet, the traditional printed fan club newsmagazines became outdated. Fans were now able to connect with the ladies through their website and social media platforms. Despite the disbandment of the printed fan club news letters, David remained actively involved in supporting the ladies' career and championing their legacy behind the scenes. His commitment and love for The Supremes, and their fans will always be remembered. David’s contribution to the FL.O.S. and the connections he fostered will be missed deeply. Our love, sympathy and condolences to David's family and friends. We love you David From The heart of Lynda LaurenceIn Memory of David Kramlick, from the heart of Lynda Laurence.
It is never easy to lose a colleague, but when that colleague is also a friend, it is especially hard. David was both, and he filled both roles with such dedication and grace. He was the backbone of our fan club newsletter 1997—2004 no, he was the newsletter. Every piece of information, every picture that graced its pages, was carefully curated and crafted by him. David loved what he did, and he was exceptionally good at it. Although David never sought the spotlight, he was always there, working tirelessly in the background. He was a stickler for detail, ensuring our fan club newsletter was not only up-to-date but also delivered on time to our fans worldwide. And, let’s not forget—he could type faster than anyone I knew! Yes, that was his niche. But when things transitioned to the internet, it was a bit too much exposure for David. He preferred the quiet, behind-the-scenes space where he could truly shine. Nevertheless, David remained an unwavering member of the F.L.O.S. team. He was always there, ready to lend a hand with whatever was needed. He loved our group, our team members, and the many fans who had the privilege of experiencing his witty words, sense of humor, encyclopedic knowledge of The Supremes' history, and, above all, his steadfast loyalty. David Kramlick will be missed—he is missed— but he will never be forgotten. I will forever cherish our friendship and hold it close to my heart. There will always be a smile on my face when I think of him. I could never thank David enough for everything he contributed to our group and to me personally. He fought for us, lifted us up when we needed it, and always championed us. My heartfelt and deepest condolences go out to his family. If Scherrie and I are "Supreme sisters," then David Kramlick was our "Supreme brother." Your friend always, Lynda Laurence ![]() 55 years ago today, Jean Terrell was on the cover of Soul Newspaper!
