FLOS 40th Anniversary Celebration! SOLD OUT show last night at The Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood, CA. Scherrie, Lynda and Joyce arrived on stage singing "Hold On (I'm Coming) then launched into the classic Supremes' hits, wearing one of their classic black velvet and diamond encrusted gowns. The Ladies then introduced former FLOS member (1996-2009) Ms. Freddie Pool. Freddie joined the ladies on stage with a power house version of "Respect" led by Freddie. While Freddi continued entertaining the ladies exited for a costume change. The Ladies returned to the stage singing The Supremes' #1 hit "You Keep Me Hanging On," wearing white chiffon gowns with new bright yellow, fluffy coats by Linda Stokes The next section of their show included hits like"Back In My Arms Again," "Nathan Jones," "Love Is Like An Itching In My Heart" and Joyce's "Tony Orlando & Dawn Medley. The next surprise guest was Ms. Susaye Greene, the last Supreme (1976-177) and former FLOS member 2017-2023. Susaye joined the Ladies on THE SUPREMES 1976 disco classic "I'm Gonna Let My Heart Do The Walking." The original Motown recording featured Scherrie Payne, Mary Wilson, Cindy Birdsong & Susaye Greene (4 Supremes!) Scherrie, Lynda and Joyce gave the stage to Susaye as they departed for another costume change. Susaye continued amazing the audience with her spectacular 5 octave range, as only Susaye can! The Ladies returned to the stage, wearing a new sequined & feathered, Linda Stokes designed, jumpsuit and coats, singing The Temptations hit "Get Ready,." On this number Lynda's 17 year old granddaughter Anjela was playing drums. The Ladies took the audience back to the early 1970's with The Supremes' classics "Up The Ladder To The Roof," and "Stoned Love." A few other highlights from the last section of the ladies' show was their signature version of "How Do You Keep The Music Playing," which earned them a standing ovation, and a moving version of "That's What Friends Are For," - which was dedicated to original Supreme, Mary Wilson and the ladies' fans worldwide. The ladies closed their show with "You Can't Hurry Love" and Pharrell's "Happy," which had the audience up on their feet again. A great night was had by all!
