50 years ago today The Supremes released "Im Gonna Let My Heart Do The Walking."   Composed by the Holland brothers Eddie and Brian, of Holland-Dozier-Holland fame and Harrold Beatty. It was The Supremes'  first single since 1962 to feature four Supremes (Scherrie Payne - lead, Mary Wilson, Cindy Birdsong & Susaye Greene.). It is also notable for being the last top forty single the group would score before they disbanded in 1977.

The single eventually peaked at #40 on the Billboard Hot 100, #25 on the R&B singles chart, and hit #3 on Billboard's disco chart.

How do the ladies maintain their amazing voices?   Well, the ladies have a weekly vocal class with their vocal coach, Shoshana Payne Phillips of La Voix Studio in Studio City CA.  The Ladies are not only proud sponsors of La Voix Studio, but they are also students!   Shosahana keeps the ladies' voices in tip top shape!  She's amazing!

ABOUT SHOSHANA PAYNE PHILLIPS:
Shoshana has an associates degree in Music Liberal Arts, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management, a Masters Degree in Public Administration and a second Masters Degree in the Art of Teaching from the University of Southern California. Since 2005, she's studied and became a certified Vocal Instructor in Seth Riggs' world famous "Speech Level Singing (SLS)" organization,  which is a method that trains many celebrities while working with several of SLS' top level vocal coaches.  Shoshana has owned/operated La Voix Studio for  sixteen years. She continues to further discover, collaborate and work with other teachers to  enhance her knowledge in the world of voice technique as a top Singing Coach, Vocal Instructor, Music Teacher and Vocal Producer, alongside training many celebrity entertainers in the music industry! 

DID YOU KNOW?: Shoshana is the daughter of Ms. Scherrie Payne and the niece of Ms. Freda Payne.  Her father is Ronnie Phillips of Superstar International records - the label responsible for FLOS' first single "We're Back." Music is in her genes!

The audience made it feel like home, and we loved every minute of it!
